Slice of Summer
Mark your calendars for the Slice of Summer festivities in Heritage Fun Park. Festivities start at 2:00 pm with kid's activities and free use of the swimming pool and bouncy rooms. The pool will open at 1pm. A band will play from 5:00- 8:00 pm. This year one band will play with area youth entertaining during the band breaks.
Rotary and Lions will be selling hamburgers, nachos, bratwurst, and hot dogs at very reasonable prices. A BHS club and Broadwater County 4-H Exchange Club will be selling floats, watermelon, and healthy drinks.
The Slice of Summer is funded by donations from local businesses and service clubs to help make the event as inexpensive as possible for local families.
Mark your calendar and tell your friends to come enjoy the "Slice of Summer". All proceeds from the food sales will go to fund the next Slice of Summer. Bring your dancing shoes!
